Jaguars Promote CB Quenton Meeks, Waive WR Rashad Green Sr.

According to John Oehser, the Jaguars have promoted CB Quenton Meeks from their practice squad and waived WR Rashad Green Sr. to make room for him.

Meeks, 21, signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in May. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.

During his three-year college career, Meeks recorded 115 total tackles, two tackles for loss, seven interceptions, 17 pass defenses, and scored two defensive touchdowns.
