Jaguars Promote OL Jeremiah Poutasi To Active Roster, Waive OL Bryce Harris

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Friday that they’ve promoted OL Jeremiah Poutasi to their active roster and placed OL Bryce Harris on waivers.

Poutasi, 22, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in May of last year. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.385 million contract and set to make a base salary of $587,500 in 2016 when he was cut loose by the Titans coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad just a few days later.

Last year, Poutasi appeared in 11 games for the Titans.

Harris, 27, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in 2012. He later joined the Saints before the start of the 2012 season and spent three years in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season.

The Falcons later signed Harris to a contract claimed Harris off of waivers and brought him back this past March. However, he wound up being among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Jaguars signed him to a contract in early October.

In 2015, Harris was active for just one game for the Falcons.
