Jaguars, Raiders, & Seahawks Could Be Suitors For TE Julius Thomas

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media mentioned on Wednesday’s Total Access that the Raiders, Jaguars, and Seahawks could all be suitors for Broncos free agent TE Julius Thomas.

The Jaguars and Raiders have been connected to every notable free agent just based on the fact that they both have an exorbitant amount of cap space to work with this offseason and will need to spend a good portion of it.

Jacksonville does seem like a serious suitor given that Thomas would be a clear upgrade for their offense moving forward.

Last year, reports mentioned that the Seahawks checked in with the Broncos about the availability of Thomas before the trade deadline, so they will now an opportunity to meet with him this weekend.

Thomas, 26, may have had a disappointing end to the 2014 season, but he still caught 43 passes for 489 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns over the course of 13 games. PFF has him rated as the No. 13 tight end in the league out of 67 qualifying players.

We have Thomas listed as the No. 9 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
