Jaguars Re-Sign WR Bryan Walters, Place Rookie WR Rashad Greene On Short-Term I.R.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed WR Bryan Walters and placed rookie WR Rashad Greene on injured reserve with the designation to return.

Walters, 27, signed a two-year, $1.445 million contract that included $25,000 fully guaranteed with the Jaguars back in March, but was released just a few days ago to make room for CB Peyton Thompson, who was promoted to their active roster.

In 2014, appeared in 13 games and caught six passes for 57 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Greene, 22, signed a four-year, $2.523 million contract that included a $243,816 signing bonus. He stands to make a base salary of $435,000 for the 2015 season.

This season, Greene has caught nine passes for 35 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Jaguars.
