Jaguars Re-Sign WR Bryan Walters

Mike Kaye reports that the Jaguars have re-signed WR Bryan Walters to a one-year deal that includes an option.

If Walters’ option is picked up and he reaches the incentives including in the contract, it would be worth $2.3 million.

Walters, 29, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Cornell back in 2010. He lasted two years in San Diego before bouncing around with a few teams including the Vikings and Seahawks.

The Jaguars later signed him to a contract as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2015. He has been on and off of the roster over the past two years.

In 2016, Walters appeared in 10 games for the Jaguars and caught 24 passes for 231 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also contributed as a kick and punt returner.
