Jaguars Re-Signing DE Lerentee McCray

According to Jordan Schultz, the Jaguars are signing DE Lerentee McCray to a one-year contract that includes an option for the 2019 season on Friday.

McCray, 27, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2013. He spent the past three years in Denver before signing a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Packers in 2016.

Green Bay later traded McCray to the Bills for a seventh-round pick in 2018. McCray wound up signing a one-year, $1M contract with the Jaguars last year as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, McCray appeared in 13 games for the Jaguars and recorded 12 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass defense.
