Jaguars Release WR Bryan Walters From I.R. With Settlement

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Wednesday that they’ve released WR Bryan Walters from injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Walters, 29, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Cornell back in 2010. He lasted two years in San Diego before bouncing around with a few teams including the Vikings and Seahawks.

The Jaguars later signed him to a contract as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2015. He has been on and off of the roster over the past two years before returning to the team on a one-year contract this past March.

In 2016, Walters appeared in 10 games for the Jaguars and caught 24 passes for 231 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also contributed as a kick and punt returner.
