Jaguars Cut 13 Players Including WR Tandon Doss & QB Jeff Tuel

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Jaguars have begun cutting players starting with WR Tandon Doss, who is being released outright.

Doss, 25, is a former fourth-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2011. He was cut loose by the Ravens after two years with the team.

Jacksonville wound up signing him to a two-year, $1.505 million contract that included a $65,000 signing bonus back in March of last year. He was set to make a base salary of $745,000 for the 2015 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Doss will free up $770,000 in cap space while creating $32,500 in dead money.

Doss hasn’t appeared in a game since the 2013 season while playing for the Ravens. Last year, he appeared in 15 games and caught 19 receptions for 305 yards receiving and no touchdowns while contributing on special teams.
