Jaguars Rookie WR Allen Robinson Expected To Miss “A Few Weeks” With Hamstring Injury

Ryan O’Hallaran of the Florida Times-Union reported Monday that Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Allen Robinson will miss a “few weeks” due to a hamstring injury.

It appears as though this concludes Robinson’s participation in OTAs. However, he should be back in time for the start of Jaguars’ training camp on July 26.

The Jaguars used a second-round pick on Robinson, who appears to be in a position to compete for playing time with fellow second-round selection Marqise Lee, Cecil Shorts, and Ace Sanders.

Robinson’s injury doesn’t appear to be anything serious, but it certainly worth monitoring this summer as hamstring injuries can linger much longer than initially expected.
