Jaguars Sign CB Tyler Patmon

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday that they’ve signed CB Tyler Patmon to a contract.

Patmon, 26, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May of 2014, but he lasted less than a year in Dallas before he was cut loose.

The Dolphins later signed him to their practice squad and brought him back on exclusive rights free agent this last April. Unfortunately, Miami waived him at the start of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Titans but was waived a few weeks later.

Patmon spent a few weeks with the Chiefs before joining the Panthers to finish out the year. Carolina signed him to a future/reserve contract this past January but elected to cut him loose a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Patmon appeared in 13 games and recorded 13 tackles, six pass defenses and 26 kick return yards for the Cowboys.
