Jaguars Sign Five Players & Cut Four Others

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced several roster moves Monday morning including signings five players who participated in their two-day rookie minicamp, including: DT Richard Ash, DE Cap Capi, WR Kasey Closs, FS Desmond Cooper and OL Jack Rummells.

To make room for the new additions, Jacksonville placed TE Marcel Jensen, S Jeremy Deering, K Derek Dimke and WR Tommy Streeter on waivers.

Streeter is probably the most notable player among this group.

Streeter, 25, is a former sixth-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2012. He last just over a year with the team before he was among their final roster cuts at the start of the 2013 regular season.

Since then, Streeter has played for the Buccaneers and Dolphins before joining the Jaguars at the end of September.

Last year, he appeared in two games for the Jaguars but didn’t record a single statistic for them.
