Jaguars Sign OT Brennan Williams

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed OT Brennan Williams to a contract, according to the NFL transactions release.

Williams, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Houston Texans back in 2013. However, he lasted just a little over a year with the team before he was waived in July of last year.

Williams unfortunately suffered a knee injury during his rookie and wound up missing all of OTAs and training camp recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery.

There could be some real concerns regarding his knee moving forward, seeing as teams rarely move on from a third-round pick so soon, but it’s certainly a low-risk signing for Jacksonville.

Williams will likely have to compete for a roster spot in training camp.
