Jaguars Sign RB Jhurell Pressley To Practice Squad, Place RB Tim Cook On Injured List

The Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve signed RB Jhurell Pressley to their practice squad and placed RB Tim Cook on the practice squad injured list.

The Jaguars’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. RB Tim Cook (Injured)
  2. DE Hunter Dimick
  3. OL Avery Gennesy (Injured)
  4. TE David Grinnage
  5. OL Chris Reed (Exception)
  6. OLB Carroll Phillips
  7. CB Raysean Pringle
  8. DT Darius Kilgo (Exception)
  9. WR Larry Pinkard
  10. WR Jayden Mickens
  11. DT Marcus Hardison
  12. RB Jhurell Pressley

Pressley, 25, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of last year. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Packers.

The Falcons eventually signed him to their practice squad before he was once again among the team’s final roster cuts. Pressley had a brief stint on the Falcons’ practice squad.

During his four years at the University of New Mexico, Pressley ran for 2,725 yards on 394 carries (6.92 YPC) to go along with 35 touchdowns.
