The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Thursday that they’ve signed S Marqueston Huff to their practice squad after he officially cleared waivers and released WR Jamal Robinson.
The Jaguars’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Richard Ash
- OL Rashod Hill
- WR Rashad Lawrence
- CB Nick Marshall
- WR Shane Wynn
- LB Sean Porter
- OL Jeremiah Poutasi
- TE Alex Ellis
- RB Bronson Hill
- S Marqueston Huff
Huff, 24, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Titans. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.654 million rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $600,000 and $690,000 over the remainder of the agreement.
The Titans waived him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players, but he was later claimed by the Jaguars. Unfortunately, Jacksonville cut Huff loose earlier in the week.
In 2015, Huff appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 15 tackles, no interceptions, and two pass defenses.
