Jaguars Sign Third-Round DL Yannick Ngakoue, Lock Up 2016 Draft Class

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they have officially signed third-round DL Yannick Ngakoue to a four-year deal.

The Jaguars have now officially locked up their entire 2016 draft class following this move.

Ngakoue, 21, was taken with the No. 69 overall pick by the Jaguars over a month ago. The Jaguars have clearly made a point to upgrade at defensive end in the past few years, and adding Ngakoue gives them another young player to develop in the coming years to go along with Donte Fowler.

According to OverTheCap.com, Ngakoue receives a four-year contract worth $3,196,176 to go along with a signing bonus of $856,176.

During his college career at Maryland, Ngakoue recorded 83 tackles, 32 tackles for a loss, 21 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception over the course of three years.
