Jaguars Sign WR Arrelious Benn To A Two-Year Contract

Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, citing a league source, reports that the Jaguars have signed WR Arrelious Benn to a two-year contract.

Benn, 25, was traded to the Eagles by the Buccaneers in return for a 2013 sixth-round pick and a 2014 conditional selection. He was later released with an injury settlement after he unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in August of last year.

The Eagles brought Benn back this past May, but he was once again released with an injury settlement right before the start of the 2014 season.

He last appeared in an NFL game during the 2012 season while playing for the Buccaneers.

    • It’s probably just a future/reserve signing, which means he’ll just get a chance to compete for a spot in training camp and they can move on if they feel they have better options.
