Jaguars Sign WR Kenny Shaw, DT David Carter & LB Josh Hull, Waive Three

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of WR Kenny Shaw, DT David Carter and LB Josh Hull on Saturday.

The team also placed LB John Lotulelei and WR Damian Copeland on waivers and waived/injured defensive tackle Jordan Miller.

Hull, 26, was a seventh-round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams back in 2010. He spent three seasons with the Rams before he was waived in October of last year. Hull was most recently with the Patriots, but was once again put on waivers a few days ago.

Hull later caught on with the Redskins and would go on to appear in 11 games last season. He totaled 14 tackles last year while contributing mainly on special teams.

Shaw, 22, signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in May, but was waived a little over a week ago. During his four years at FSU, Shaw caught 124 passes for 1,919 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns.

Carter is a former sixth-round draft pick of Arizona Cardinals back in 2011. He has played for the Cardinals, Cowboys and Raiders while appearing in 35 games and making four starts.

Over the course of his career, Carter has recorded 30 tackles, one sack, two passes defensed and one forced fumble.
