Jaguars Signing LB Lerentee McCray To One-Year Deal

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Jaguars are signing LB Lerentee McCray to a one-year deal worth a maximum of $3.5 million. The contract includes $1 million guaranteed.

McCray, 26, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2013. He finished a one-year, $800,000 contract to become an unrestricted free agent.

He spent the past three years in Denver before testing the open market last offseason.

The Packers signed him to a one-year, $800,000 contract back in April of last year but was traded to the Bills for a seventh-round pick in 2018.

In 2016, McCray appeared in 13 games for the Bills and recorded 18 tackles, a half sack, and one forced fumble. According to Pro Football Focus, McCray played a total of 164 snaps last year.
