Jaguars HC Gus Bradley told reporters on Monday that Chad Henne will get the start against the Chargers in Week 7, per John Oehser.
Bradley added that Blaine Gabbert still is not ready to return from his hamstring injury, but added that he could throw on the side in practice.
Henne was 27-of-42 for 303 yards and two interceptions in Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. Overall, Henne was spectacular by any means, but he was at least able to distribute the ball better than Gabbert has been. Justin Blackmon was the main beneficiary of Henne starting as he caught 14 passes for 190 yards.
