Jaguars Targeting Offensive Coordinators

Joe Person tweets that the Jaguars will have also reached out to Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski regarding their head coaching vacancy.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have asked for permission to speak with Falcons OC Mike Mularkey about possibly taking over as their head coach.

Mularkey will most likely be focused on the New York Giants throughout the week so may choose to put off the interview or decline it all together which is what he did last year when the Broncos targeted him.

Jacksonville is looking to revamp their poor offense and adding a coach that has experience working with a young quarterback is an obvious plus. Mularkey is a good option for the Jag’s but there’s really no guarantee that he’s going to be interested.
