Jaguars Tried Out Two Players Including QB Mitch Leidner

According to Howard Balzer, the Jaguars tried out two players including QB Mitch Leidner and DB Raysean Pringle.

Jacksonville elected to sign Pringle to their practice squad yesterday.

Leidner wound up going undrafted out of Minnesota this March. Leidner previously tried out for the Ravens during their rookie minicamp but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.

The Vikings signed him to a contract a few weeks ago before cutting him loose last weekend.

During his four-year college career, Leidner threw for 7,287 yards while completing 56.4 percent of his passes to go along with 36 touchdowns and 32 interceptions over the course of four years and 47 games.
