Jaguars Waive LB Justin Horton From I.R. With Settlement

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially waived LB Justin Horton from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Friday.

Horton, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

The Jaguars waived him with an injury designation earlier in the week and he later reverted to the injured reserve list.

During his final year at Jacksonville, Horton recorded 70 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a recovery over the course of 10 games.
