Jaguars Waive S Marqueston Huff, Cut WR Shaq Evans From PS With Settlement

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve waived S Marqueston Huff and cut WR Shaq Evans from their practice squad injured list with a settlement.

Huff, 24, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Titans. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.654 million rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $600,000 and $690,000 over the remainder of the agreement.

The Titans waived him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players, but he was later claimed by the Jaguars.

In 2015, Huff appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 15 tackles, no interceptions, and two pass defenses.
