Jaguars Waive TE Zach Conque From I.R. With Settlement

According to Mike Kaye, the Jaguars have waived TE Zach Conque from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Friday.

Conque, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Texans cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Austin, Conque played quarterback and threw for 6,867 yards while completing 57.3 percent of his passes to go along with 46 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. he also rushed for 1,605 yards and 34 touchdowns over the course of 36 games.
