Jaguars Worked Out 4 Players Including QB Sefo Liufau & WR Nelson Spruce

The JacksonvilleĀ Jaguars brought in four free agents for tryouts on Friday including WR Dres Anderson, DT Woodrow Hamilton, QB Sefo Liufau and WR Nelson Spruce.

Liufau, 22, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May. He was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason before eventually being waived with an injury settlement.

During his four-year college career at Colorado, Liufau recordedĀ 887 completions on 1,412 attempts (62.8 percent) for 9,746 yards, 60 touchdowns, and 35 interceptions.

Spruce, 24, joined the Rams as an undrafted rookie out of Colorado back in May and was able to make the team’s 53-man roster. He was signed to a three-year, $1.62 million contract and is earning a base salary of $4500 this season.

TheĀ Rams placed Spruce on injured reserve during the season before eventually designating him to return in December. Los Angeles waived Spruce with an injury designation coming out of the preseason before later being waived with an injury settlement.

During his four-year college career at Colorado, he accumulated 294 receptions for 3,347 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns.
