Jaguars Working Out Pittsburgh QB Nathan Peterman

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jaguars have scheduled a private workout for next week with Pittsburgh QB Nathan Peterman.

Jacksonville continues to do work on quarterback prospects this year and have already met with Clemson’s Deshaun Watson in recent weeks.

Peterson is scheduled to meet with the Bills, Chiefs, and Patriots and has previously met with the Steelers and Eagles.

Peterman, 22, actually spent two years at Tennessee before transferring to Pittsburgh for the 2015 season. In total, Peterman threw for 5,236 yards while completing 60.1 percent of his passes to go along with 47 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He also contributed 525 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 quarterback prospect in this year’s draft class.
