Jaguars WR Marqise Lee Carted Off With Knee Injury

Jaguars WR Marqise Lee went down with what appears to be a left knee injury during Saturday’s preseason game and was carted off the field.

Lee injured took a hit to his knee from Falcons S Damontae Kazee, who was penalized for lowering his helmet.

Should Lee miss time with this injury, the Jaguars would move forward with Dede Westbrook, Donte Moncrief, Keelan Cole and D.J. Chark as their top receivers.

Lee, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $5,174,016 contract and made a base salary of $1,125,549 for the 2017 season.

Lee was in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason when he agreed to a four-year, $38 million contract with $18 million guaranteed with the Jaguars before the start of free agency.

In 2017, Lee appeared in 15 games and caught 56 passes for 702 yards receiving and three touchdowns for the Jaguars. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 30 receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
