Best has dealt with some very serious concussion issues in last few year’s, so there’s still going to be some concerns regarding this issue. Best’s offeason has gone very well to this point and the fact that Mikel Leshoure will miss the first two games following a suspension handed down from the league, makes it very likely that Best will see a sizable workload to begin the season.
Detroit re-signed Kevin Smith to add some depth to their group of running backs. He was much better than anyone expected from them last season, before dealing with some injuries of his own.
These player provide plenty of upside for the Lions offense, but they also come with some serious question marks, so it will be interesting to see how things play out for them in 2012, considering how productive their passing game was last season.
