Titans Hoping Jake Locker Can Return For Week 7

Titans head coach Mike Munchak mentioned that he’s “hopeful” that QB Jake Locker will be able to reutn to the practice field next week and start Week 7’s game, per Terry McCormick.

Matt Hasselbeck was able to lead the Titans to win over the Steelers last night, but Munchak doesn’t appear to be willing to sit Locker.

After dislocating his non-throwing shoulder two weeks ago, Titans head coach Mike Munchak said quarterback Jake Locker is aiming to return to the field Week 7, per The Tennessean.

“Jake is getting better, no doubt about that. The last couple of days he feels a lot better,” he said, via The Tennessean. “We’ll hold him and start thinking about the next game.”

Locker has dislocated his non-throwing shoulder twice this season. The Titans wanted to play it smart with their young quarterback and give him an extra week to get healthy. If Locker does return Week 7, the Titans will take on the Bills and their 31st rank defense. As for this week, Matt Hasselbeck will start for the Titans again, as they host the Steelers Thursday night.
