Jake Locker Underwent MRI On Injured Wrist, Week 4 Status Uncertain

 

Titans HC Ken Whisenhunt told reporters Monday that QB Jake Locker suffered a wrist injury during Week 3’s loss to the Bengals.

Locker underwent an MRI on Monday and Whisenhunt said that they will know more about his status later in the week, per Terry McCormick.

Whisenhunt said Locker could barely grip the ball towards the end of Sunday’s game, but the quarterback assured him that he  could play through the injury.

Whisenhunt said that he has confidence in backup Charlie Whitehurst in the even that Locker is unable to play this week.

Locker finished the game 17-of-34 for 185 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.
