The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense has struggled in recent weeks, which was evident by the fact that they just gave up 34 points to the Raiders offense. Both S Troy Polamalu and OLB James Harrison have been hampered with injuries recently, so getting them back in the near future would almost certainly have a huge impact on their production.
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Polamalu and Harrison were both able to return to the practice field on Tuesday. Dulac adds that Polamalu mentioned that he’s hoping to play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5, while Harrison mentioned that he’s currently “just going day to day.”
Pittsburgh is on bye this week, so they should have plenty of time to get healthy and prepare for the Eagles.
