James Harrison’s Knee Is Progressing

Steelers linebacker James Harrison was able to workout monday, which is not only an obvious sign that Harrison’s surgically-repaired knee is progressing, but it gives him a shot to play this weekend against the Jets, per Mike Bires.

By only recording two sacks and five hurries on Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, the Steelers really missed Harrison’s pass rushing ability. Then again, Manning was able to neutralize the pass rush with the hurry-up offense and by getting the ball out quick.

The Steelers want to see how Harrison’s knee will respond on Tuesday. If there’s any swelling or soreness, don’t expect see him on the field this Sunday.
