Jared Cook To Visit With Vikings Next If There’s No Deal In Place With Seahawks

Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports that, barring an agreement with the Seahawks on Tuesday, free agent TE Jared Cook will visit with the Vikings next.

The Lions, Bills and Bears have also come up as potential landing spots for Cook, but both the Bears and Lions have added tight ends in recent days.

Cook, 29, is a former third-round pick by the Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. He played out his rookie contract with Tennessee before signing a big-money deal with the Rams as a free agent back in 2013.

After he was released by the Rams, the Packers signed Cook to a one-year, $2.75 million last offseason.

In 2016, Cook appeared in 10 games for the Packers and recorded 30 receptions for 377 yards receiving, one touchdown, and lost one fumble. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 11 overall tight end out of 63 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
