Jared Cook’s Visit With Vikings Ends Without A Deal, Meeting With Raiders Next

The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday night that free agent TE Jared Cook‘s visit with the team has concluded without an agreement.

Adam Caplan reports that Cook is on his way to visit with the Raiders next, but the majority of the meeting will take place on Thursday.

The Seahawks previously met with him and the Lions, Bills and Bears have also come up as potential landing spots for Cook, but both the Bears and Lions have added tight ends since free agency got underway.

Cook, 29, is a former third-round pick by the Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. He played out his rookie contract with Tennessee before signing a big-money deal with the Rams as a free agent back in 2013.

After he was released by the Rams, the Packers signed Cook to a one-year, $2.75 million last offseason.

In 2016, Cook appeared in 10 games for the Packers and recorded 30 receptions for 377 yards receiving, one touchdown, and lost one fumble. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 11 overall tight end out of 63 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
