Jarrad Page Dealt To New England

One day after signing his restricted free agency tender with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jarrad Page has been traded to the New England Patriots for a conditional draft pick, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Page’s contract runs through the 2010 season so this could end up being a one-year rental for the Patriots who’s secondary is in need of some experience after they lost Leigh Bodden to a season-ending injury.

Page made it clear early into the offseason that he didn’t want to play in Kansas City this year, so the Chiefs have granted him his wish and he will now get a chance to play on a bigger stage.
