ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Chicago Bears have signed QB Jason Campbell.
This is probably a good move for the Bears as losing Jay Cutler in recent years has been a pretty serious problem for them. Chicago get Campbell for one-year.

According to Jason La Canfora, QB Jason Campbell and the Chicago Bears are currently in contract talks.
Campbell played seven games this season before going down with an injury.
After QB Jay Cutler went down for the Bears their back-ups were seen as unreliable and felt the need to add more depth to the position. Campbell will be one of the best back-up QBs in the league if he signs with the Bears.

Some people were saying that Campbell is a starting QB, and he definitely can be, but he said he knows this year he would be a back up…Maybe he is hoping that next years market is a little lighter in the QB department and that he can get a starting gig after a couple good performances here
