Jason Campbell Leaning Towards Retirement Despite Interest From NFL Teams

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that veteran QB Jason Campbell is leaning towards retirement, even though he has found interest from a few NFL teams.

According to Florio, Campbell has rejected multiple opportunities from teams like the Ravens and Bengals since free agency got under way month ago.

Campbell, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Redskins back in 2005, who was later traded to the Raiders for a fourth-round pick in 2010. Since then, Campbell has played for the Bears, Browns and Bengals.

Last year, Campbell appeared in four games and three for 74 yards while completing 57.9 precent of his passes to go along with no touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Campbell and his future as the news is available.
