The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Rams General Manager Les Snead is unsure of whether or not Jason Smith is their long-term answer at the right-tackle position.
“When you get picked high (second overall), and you’ve been inconsistent or you’ve been injured, you’re going to get scrutinized,” Snead said. “But here’s what I do know; you’ve got a really good offensive line coach (Paul Boudreau) who’s proven he can make a unit’s sum better than its parts. … He’s also proved he can get the most out of an individual.”
“Long story short, I think Jason Smith‘s going to have every chance to improve here under Paul.”
