Jay Cutler “Not Expected” To Play In Week 13

Chicago Bears HC Marc Trestman told reporters on Monday that QB Jay Cutler is “not expected” to play against the Vikings this weekend.

Trestman insisted that “there’s nothing other than a high ankle sprain involved here,” which is a good indication that he could be back some time soon. Trestman added that he is, “totally confident he’ll play again this season.”

Cutler has been listed as week-to-week after he suffered a high-ankle sprain back in Week 10, but it appears as though there is a chance he could be back in time to play against the Cowboys in Week 14.

Josh McCown completed 36-of-47 passes for 352 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sunday’s game, which is another pretty good stat line.

We’ll have more regarding Cutler’s status as the news is available.
