Jay Cutler Still Has Concerns Regarding The Bears O-Line

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler discussed some of his concerns regarding the teams’ offensive line during a radio interview.

Until we get those front five hammered down, we’re still kind of up in the air offensively,” Cutler said, via NFL.com. “Even though we’ve got some really, really talented guys on the outside.”

There’s no question that Bears offensive line has been one of the worst units in the entire NFL the last few seasons, but a change in offensive philosophy that won’t require Cutler take a five-step drop, should at the very least allow him to get the ball out faster next season. An improved offensive line should really help Chicago live up to their promise next season.

I talked to [Roberto] Garza about it and asked if anyone was offended. He said no. He agreed with me,” Cutler said. “(I) didn’t throw anyone under the bus, didn’t name anybody specifically and say that they are a weak link. I just said until we get that front five we’ll see what happens.”
