Jeff Saturday Will Retire From The NFL

Packers C Jeff Saturday announced on Friday that he will be retiring from the NFL following Sunday’s Pro Bowl.

We’ll finish it with sunsets in Hawaii and call it a much better career than I would have anticipated,” Saturday said while appearing on 1070 The Fan, via Pro Football Talk.

There’s been talk for awhile now that Saturday could be close to calling it career. He was benched towards the end of the season in favor of Evan Dietrich-Smith, which had a lot to do with his ineffectiveness in the run game.

Saturday, 37, spent 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before signing with the Packers this season.
