Jeremy Hill Planning To Move On From Bengals

Bengals free agent RB Jeremy Hill said goodbye to Cincinnati on Wednesday via his Twitter account.

The Bengals used a second-round pick on Joe Mixon last year and began phasing Hill out of their offense before he decided to have season-ending ankle surgery.

Hill tells Jim Owczarski of the Enquirer that he isn’t nervous to test the open market in the coming months.

“I’m not nervous at all,” Hill said. “I think the chips will fall where they may and I’m good with that going forward. I’m going to put the work in and when you do that you can sleep good at night knowing you did everything you could, and that’s what I’m going to do.

Hill, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,753,602 contract and made a base salary of $881,855 for the 2017 season.

Hill will be an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.

In 2017, Hill appeared in seven games for the Bengals and rushed for 116 yards on 37 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with four receptions for 16 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

We have him featured in our Top 100  – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
