Cowboys MLB Sean Lee Could Be Done For The Season

Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones told reporters on Tuesday that he is “very concerned” that MLB Sean Lee might could be out for the remainder of the 2013 season, per Nick Eatman.

Lee, 27, suffered a sprained ligament in his neck during Week 14’s game against the Chicago Bears. Lee still has not been medically cleared to return to the practice field, so there is clearly some concern that they may need to shut him down for the season.

We have to do more tests with the doctors,” Lee said on Monday, per ESPN Dallas. “Until they clear me I won’t be in there. That’s the key. Hopefully they’ll clear me pretty soon.

With the uncertainty surrounding Lee, a move to the injured reserved could occur at some point in next few days. Lee currently ranks as the No. 7 inside linebacker, according to Pro Football Focus.
