Jets Activate WR Quincy Enunwa, Place RB Zac Stacy On I.R.

The New York Jets announced a series of roster moves on Saturday including activating WR Quincy Enunwa from the reserve/suspended list.

Enunwa was suspended four games for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy close to a month ago.

Enunwa, 23, was taken in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft. However, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie season. The Jets later signed him to their practice squad.

Enunwa managed to make the team this year and has appeared in five games, catching eight passes for 94 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Stacy, 24, came over in a trade with the Rams that sent a seventh round pick that ultimately became Bryce Hager to St. Louis.

He is in the third year of his four-year, $2.337 million rookie contract that included a $176,500 signing bonus. Stacy will make base salaries of $585,000 and $675,000 over the remainder of the agreement.

Stacy’s 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in eight games and rushing for 89 yards on 31 carries (2.9 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 65 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
