Jets Bringing In OLB Courtney Upshaw For Visit

Peter Schrager of FOX Sports reports that the Jets are bringing in Ravens free agent OLB Courtney Upshaw for a visit on Thursday.

Previous reports have said that the Colts could be a team to watch for Upshaw. However, there has been little buzz in recent days regarding the idea.

Another possibility that was proposed was a potential return to the Ravens if his market doesn’t pick up in the coming days.

Upshaw, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the team and is now testing the open market for the first time.

In 2015, Upshaw appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 51 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, three recoveries and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 84 edge rusher out of 110 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
