Jets, Broncos, & 49ers Interested In Veteran G Erik Pears

Matt Barrows reports that free agent OL Erik Pears is drawing interest from the Jets and Broncos following his visit with the 49ers earlier in the week.

The free agent pool was limited in terms of offensive line talent heading into Tuesday, but there are very few options remaining that could step in and produce for an NFL team.

Pears, 32, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in 2005. He has since played for the Raiders, Jaguars and Bills.

In 2014, Pears appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and played a total of 1086 snaps. However, Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 76 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
