Jets CB Rashard Robinson Arrested Last Month For Drug Possession & Careless Driving

According to Dennis Wasczak Jr. of the Associated Press, Jets CB Rashard Robinson was arrested in New Jersey back in December after being pulled over. Authorities indicated that they found “THC infused peanut candy” in Robinson’s possession.

He was arrested and charged with drug possession and carelessly driving a 2018 Mercedes Benz. Police added that the car “smelled like marijuana.”

The Jets declined to comment on the matter.

Robinson, 22, is a former fourth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2016. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $2.72 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $630,000 in 2018.

San Francisco decided to trade him to the Jets back in October in exchange for a 2018 fifth-round pick.

In 2017, Robinson appeared in all 14 games and recorded 29 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble and seven pass defenses.
