The New York Jets officially claimed LB Emmanuel Lamur off of waivers from the Raiders and placed OT Brandon Shell on injured reserve Wednesday.
Lamur, 29, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2012. He returned to the team on a one-year, restricted deal worth $2.356 million for the 2015 season before departing for a contract with the Vikings the following year.
The Raiders signed Lamur to a one-year, $790,000 contract this past March.
In 2018, Lamur has appeared in all nine games for the Raiders and recorded 13 tackles.
