Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals & Packers Candidates To Trade Up For TE Eric Ebron?

Dan Pompei of the Bleacher ReportĀ is hearing that NFL teams drafting in the “low teens or even high 20s” could consider a trade up for North Carolina TE Eric Ebron if he falls out of the top-ten.

Pompei specifically mentions that the Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals and Packers could all shown interest in trading up for Ebron if falls into the middle part of round one.

The general consensus has been that Ebron isĀ the most talented tight end prospect in this year’s draft class, and there is no question that each of these teams could use an upgrade to their current depth at tight end.

For what it’s worth, Ebron has reportedly worked out for the Ravens, Bills, Panthers and Lions in recent months.

Ebron appeared in 13 games and caught 62 passes for 972 yards receiving and three touchdowns during his final year at North Carolina.

We have Ebron going to the Jets in our newĀ Mock DraftĀ that will be posted tomorrow.
