The New York Jets announced Friday that restricted free agent FS Jaiquawn Jarrett has signed his tendered offer.

Jarrett received a an original round tender from the Jets, which means he receives a one-year $1.542 million contract for the 2015 season.

Jarrett, 25, appeared in 14 games last season in a backup role for the majority of the season, until getting the opportunity to start from weeks nine-to-15.

Last season, he was able to accumulate 41 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, two pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
